Job Overview Leadership Development Opportunity - Napa Grocery Outlet Are you a motivated leader looking for a better career path? Napa Grocery Outlet—owned and operated by Patrick Gaul—is seeking driven individuals interested in developing leadership and operational skills with the potential to grow into the Grocery Outlet Independent Operator (ownership) program. Patrick has a strong track record of mentoring high-potential candidates from all backgrounds, including retail, grocery, food service, finance, and beyond. Retail experience is a plus but not required—what matters most is motivation, reliability, and a desire to grow. In this hands-on role, you will learn the core elements of running a high-volume retail grocery store, including inventory control, merchandising, customer service, warehouse operations, and daily store management. Training is provided in all areas, with increasing responsibilities for those who demonstrate strong performance.

What You'll Learn & Do:

Manage inventory using RF scanners and standard stock controls Support shipping/receiving, load/unload, and warehouse operations Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided) Merchandise product, build displays, and assist with store presentation Deliver outstanding customer service and support sales initiatives Perform retail math, pricing, and accuracy checks Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations
