Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and promoting our products. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Engage customers through product demonstrations and upselling techniques to maximize sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. Assist in stocking shelves, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, returns, and exchanges. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Stay informed about product knowledge to assist customers effectively. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations. Experience with merchandising and stocking practices in a retail environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on additional responsibilities.
