Job Summary Join our vibrant retail beauty team as a Part-Time Sales Associate, where your passion for cosmetics and customer service will shine! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos and makeup applications Assist customers with selecting beauty products tailored to their needs and preferences Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell and recommend products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer trust Maintain organized merchandise displays, stock shelves, and ensure proper merchandising standards Use social media management skills to promote new products, sales events, and store promotions Operate salon software or Millennium systems for inventory management and sales processing Provide bilingual support when needed to serve a diverse customer base effectively Handle front desk responsibilities such as phone etiquette, appointment scheduling, and customer inquiries Support stock replenishment, inventory counts, and ensure the store remains visually appealing Experience Previous retail sales experience in beauty & cosmetics preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with salon software or Millennium POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse clients Knowledge of cosmetology, makeup application, and skincare products enhances customer interactions Experience with social media management helps in engaging customers online and promoting store events Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining excellent customer service Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and POS transactions are essential Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle stocking, merchandising, and customer flow efficiently Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where beauty meets exceptional service!
