Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales Associate with a passion for fashion design to join our vibrant retail team. This role combines the excitement of engaging with customers, showcasing the latest fashion trends, and applying creative design skills to enhance our product offerings. As a key member of our team, you will drive sales through exceptional customer service, product demonstrations, and effective merchandising. Your enthusiasm for fashion and ability to communicate fluently in multiple languages will help create memorable shopping experiences and foster brand loyalty. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your retail and design skills in a fast-paced, inspiring environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience You will work alongside the designer of the brand and help with new fashion collections and seasonal fashion lauches Conduct product demos to highlight features, quality, and styling options of our fashion collections Make videos on TikTok so bring awareness to the store. Visual merchandising Assist customers with selecting apparel and accessories that match their preferences and needs Perform merchandising tasks such as organizing displays, stocking shelves, and maintaining visual appeal Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing sales using POS systems Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring excellent customer service Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory counts, and product organization Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Conduct basic retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments Lead or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Skills Majored in fashion design or related in school Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail environment Supervising experience or leadership skills to support team coordination and store operations Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about fashion items Bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customer bases effectively (Spanish preferred but not mandatory) Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and retail math calculations Experience in clothing retail sales environments is a plus but not required Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance sales performance Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone or via digital communication Join us to be part of an energetic team that thrives on creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
