Retail Paint Associate is responsible for engaging the customer, determining their needs, and providing product and expertise to ensure customer success. Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to distinguish the difference between colors, a skill used when color matching or tinting paint, with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members. Cashier experience in a similar position or proficiency in a similar task Ability to proficiently use a cash register (point of sale or POS system), computer, telephone, and other equipment as needed. Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service. Strong organizational skills with a passion for details. Willing to learn all areas of the facilities and help cross train others. Knowledge and experience of various relevant tasks is strongly desired. A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required. Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Aptitude for industry technology and software. High School degree, some college preferred. Physical Requirements The minimum physical requirements for this position include: Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties. Move and handle merchandise up to 97.5 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth. Ability to work on elevated platforms and ladders, and at heights.Job Type:
