This position helps patients select eyewear that enhances their vision, comfort, lifestyle, and appearance. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong sales and customer service skills, and is passionate about helping patients look and feel their best. ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service. Build relationships with patients and create a personalized eyewear shopping experience. Help patients understand their prescription and visual needs. Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and technologies. Assist patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, lifestyle, and budget. Ensure patients feel valued, cared for, and confident in their eyewear decisions. Eyewear Sales Recommend appropriate lens designs and premium lens options. Present benefits of anti-reflective coatings, photochromic lenses, blue light filtering, polarized sunwear, occupational lenses, and other specialty products. Meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining a patient-first approach. Promote multiple-pair sales and specialty eyewear solutions. Accurately prepare eyewear orders and verify prescription information. Optical Operations Perform frame adjustments, minor repairs, and fittings. Take optical measurements including PDs, segment heights, and fitting measurements. Verify eyewear orders for accuracy. Assist with inventory management, frame merchandising, and display maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional optical showroom. Follow office policies and HIPAA guidelines. Team Collaboration Work closely with doctors, technicians, and front desk team members. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Support practice goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
