The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to effectively communicate product benefits to customers. This role involves engaging with customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. We are needing someone for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30am - 4:30pm for the Summer and Holiday Season. Hours may differ during the slow season. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Sell products by understanding customer needs and providing tailored recommendations. Communicate product features and benefits clearly to enhance customer understanding. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise effectively. Utilize Retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in restocking efforts. Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for processing transactions. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and engage potential buyers. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Basic knowledge of Retail math concepts for inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards selling and customer engagement is essential. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
