Job Description

Retail Sales Associates
  • Full-time Guiry's, a local retailer of paint and painting supplies serving both commercial and residential customers is seeking a Retail Associate for our Colorado Springs store.
Family-owned and operated since 1899, Guiry's has been one of Colorado's and New Mexico's painting and supply retailers with a longstanding reputation for providing quality products and excellence in customer service. Our Sales Associates work closely with both contractors and retail customers. Architectural paint experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are required to be successful in these positions. Responsibilities of the Sales Associate include: Assisting customers with colors and all necessary supplies for their projects Mixing and matching colors using paint tinting machines Loading and unloading trucks Stock merchandise
  • rotate, straighten and rearrange as needed Handle credit and cash transactions Maintain store cleanliness Must be flexible to the scheduling needs of the store and learning and working in all departments Availability must include Monday
  • Friday 6:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Associates must have availability during all store hours Qualifications include: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to regularly lift 75lbs Prior Paint experience a plus Prior experience delivering excellent customer service (retail environment preferred) Must be a team player with a positive attitude, great communication and time management skills, and eager to learn. Honest and ethical Self-motivated, detail oriented, hard-working, punctual and neat appearance Full-time Associates are benefits eligible. All employees are eligible for sick time and an employee discount.
