As a key member of our retail and financial operations, you will manage pawn transactions, evaluate collateral, and foster strong relationships with customers. Your energetic approach will help drive sales, ensure fraud prevention, and uphold the integrity of our financial processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in retail math, cash handling, and financial software while delivering outstanding service. Duties Assess and appraise customer items for pawn or sale, ensuring accurate valuation based on market value and condition Process loans efficiently by originating pawn agreements, calculating interest rates, and managing repayment schedules Handle cash transactions with precision, including debits & credits, cash management, and cashiering duties Engage customers through sales techniques and upselling opportunities to maximize store revenue and build lasting relationships Monitor for potential fraud or suspicious activity by applying fraud prevention and detection protocols Maintain detailed records of all transactions using financial software and adhere to compliance standards Conduct regular inventory audits of pawned items and ensure proper documentation for all collateral Experience Proven experience in financial sales, retail math, or banking environments with a focus on customer relationship management Familiarity with loan origination processes, loan processing procedures, and cash handling techniques Strong understanding of basic math skills including 10 key typing, debits & credits, and cash management principles Knowledge of financial services operations such as fraud detection, security protocols, and cash register procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Prior experience working with financial software systems and retail point-of-sale tools is preferred Ability to perform detailed math calculations accurately under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

From $17.00 per hour
