Yard Attendant and Retail Sales Associate Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated dog lover to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for watching dogs in our co-mingled yard, cleaning, feeding dogs, assisting customers in finding products, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Upsell products to increase revenue
- Watch dogs in our co-mingled yard
- Kennel cleaning
- Feeding dogs and dispensing medications
Qualifications:
- Previous dog, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
