In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their cannabis journey while leading your team with enthusiasm and expertise. As a key player in our retail environment, you'll combine exceptional customer service with leadership skills to ensure smooth daily operations, inventory control, and a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide expert guidance and personalized recommendations to customers regarding product selection and usage. Lead daily shift operations, ensuring team coordination, inventory management, and adherence to company policies. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including cash handling, pricing, and sales processing. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maintain an organized store environment. Train new employees on customer service standards, product knowledge, POS systems, and store procedures. Supervise team members by delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work environment. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Experience Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail management or similar leadership roles. Strong background in retail sales, inventory management, and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated leadership capabilities including team management, training & development, and supervising staff. Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and merchandising techniques. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases. Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and store management is highly desirable.
