Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and upselling when appropriate Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging purchases Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained Manage inventory by stocking new products, conducting stock counts, and assisting with merchandising strategies Maintain phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, providing clear and helpful information Skills Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus Proficiency in POS systems and basic math for cashiering and sales transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer needs Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and inventory management Knowledge of merchandising techniques to optimize product placement and store presentation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally and courteously Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
