Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers, support daily store operations, and help create a clean, organized, and friendly shopping experience. This role also includes assisting with grooming appointment scheduling, checking pets in and out for grooming services, and supporting the grooming team as needed. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is dependable and available for a variety of shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Our business hours never extend later than 7:30 PM. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and assist with product recommendations Help customers with questions about pet food, treats, toys, supplements, and general pet care Operate the register and handle transactions accurately Assist with booking, checking in, and checking out grooming appointments Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and restocking throughout the day Support the grooming team when needed Build strong relationships with regular customers and their pets Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Passion for animals, especially dogs and cats Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking Grooming or animal care experience is a plus, but not required Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
