Under general supervision, selects, packs, and ships orders using warehouse management software. Ensures that all invoices, shipping labels, and freight charges are printed daily on a timely basis through the manifest system.
Responsibilities:
Completes order selection, packing and shipping per warehouse management software. Prepares invoices throughout the day using the manifest computer system. Verifies and monitors accuracy of shipping information. Prepares orders for shipment, according to shipping orders. Prints all shipping reports. Performs miscellaneous shipping duties to include stocking, sales order, pick/pack. Makes boxes as needed for shipping. Performs other duties, as assigned. Have training and be compliant in the company's SQF, GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, NSF, NOP, and any local/state/federal requirements.
Qualifications:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience of computer and handheld units. Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products within the shipping area. Ability to perform physical requirements of position such as standing and walking, bending and stooping for 6-8 hours daily in addition to the ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout workday. Must demonstrate flexibility to meet quickly changing production schedules and job assignments, without close supervision. Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. The wage range for this position is $19.50-$32.01 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
