Budtender

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and consumption methods, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.

MUST BE OVER 21 AND HAVE A VALID MED EMPLOYEE BADGE

Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately, according to all MED Regulations. Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing display of products through effective merchandising techniques. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about different cannabis products and their uses. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions. Promote upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and customer interactions. Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members as needed. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or dispensary environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential. Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus. Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories is advantageous.
