POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Associate ensures a pleasant shopping experience by ensuring all inventory, displays, and dressing rooms are kept clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service to our consumers in line with Uptown's mission.
• Take pride in the appearance of Store and shows initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized. This includes doing regular markdowns and putting away clothes.
• Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using Uptown's Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business.
• Adhere to Uptown's Asset Protection policies and procedures, including shortage prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Select Sale Associates are trained for additional responsibilities:
• Cashier, as well as assisting customers with designer purchases
• Answer the phone courteously

Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

• Strong verbal communication skills to connect with store team members and customers
• Desire to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced retail environment
• Have a passion for clothing, latest trends, and style
• Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks daily
• For cashier duties, ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens and to key information into the computer daily.

Pay:

$16.94
