As a key player in our restaurant, you'll help create a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service, preparing delicious food, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This is a paid position where you'll gain valuable skills in the food industry while having fun at work. Duties Prepare and assemble menu items following established recipes and quality standards. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Take customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, providing friendly service and upselling where appropriate. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen surfaces. Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Assist with food prep, packaging, and serving to ensure quick turnaround times in a fast-food environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices preferred. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations.
