Job Overview Weekends are a MUST. Shifts are Friday-Sunday. Floating weekday coverage is available as well. This is NOT a seasonal position. VERY competitive hourly salary. •

• We are seeking a motivated and friendly Sales associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and promoting products. Your ability to engage with customers and manage sales effectively will contribute to the overall success of our store. Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately during customer transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Assist in merchandising products on the sales floor to enhance visibility and appeal. Perform stocking duties to maintain inventory levels and ensure product availability. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Skills Knowledge of Fine Wine, Spirits and Craft Beer Preferred Proven skills in upselling and retail sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Knowledge of merchandising strategies to create an appealing shopping environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Must be able to lift 25lbs and use a ladder.
