Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with automotive parts, accessories, and maintenance products Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions and cash handling Assist customers with vehicle maintenance advice, diagnostics, and repair recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area to promote a professional environment Process order fulfillment efficiently using inventory management tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Support marketing efforts through product knowledge sharing and promoting ongoing sales or promotions Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual preferred) Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures to assist customers confidently Experience with automotive repair tools, vehicle maintenance, and dealership operations is highly desirable Proficiency in retail math, inventory management, Microsoft Excel, and POS systems to ensure accurate transactions and stock control Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and maintain a tidy workspace Negotiation skills to upsell products or services while ensuring customer satisfaction Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and inventory control systems Outstanding phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone or in person This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive retail sales while delivering outstanding customer service.
