Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs Provide detailed information about retail merchandise, financial services, and loan options when applicable Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash management duties Process customer transactions efficiently using financial software and perform basic math calculations for pricing and totals Support customers with banking-related inquiries such as account information or loan processing procedures Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and ensure product displays are attractive and well-stocked Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping others is essential Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances your ability to assist customers effectively Basic math skills including retail math and 10 key typing proficiency are important for accurate transactions Experience with financial software or point-of-sale systems is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations Ability to handle cash accurately, perform cash handling duties, and manage cash registers confidently A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about loan processing, retail operations, and financial products
