Job Description
Overview We are seeking part-time help to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in providing customer service while assisting with various shop operations. This position requires a passion for customer service and retail, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role focuses on behind-the-scenes tasks, such as processing and organizing fresh flower shipments, maintaining a clean and well-stocked shop, and providing friendly customer service at the counter as well as on the phones. Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed. Assist in the sales process, making tickets for orders, cashiering, and processing transactions using POS systems. Support the shop maintenance, process flowers, and light cleaning as needed. Engage in merchandising efforts to promote products effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shop operations and inventory management. Communicate product information clearly to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Delivering joy - occasionally and literally! Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with flowers or floral design is a plus. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms is advantageous. Multilingual abilities are highly valued to enhance customer interactions. Strong communication skills are essential for effective engagement with customers and team members. Basic knowledge of retail math and stocking procedures will be beneficial for this role. Organizational skills are necessary for maintaining inventory and ensuring the shop runs smoothly.
