$53.36 - $72.03 / hour •Up to $7,500 relocation assistance for eligible candidates!!•Summary The Lead Pharmacist is a 3 rd shift role responsible for pharmacy operations during overnight hours. This role is responsible to ensure the pharmacy team effectively prepares, dispenses, and monitors medications used throughout the facility. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the professional safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups. The Lead Pharmacists are responsible for the direct supervision of technical support personnel through the overnight hours in the absence of direct Pharmacy Leadership. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, applicable regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.

Requirements Education Requirements:

PharmD or BS Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)

Experience Requirements:

Five years of professionally responsible pharmacist experience required for Bachelors Degree holders.

One year of recent inpatient hospital experience as staff pharmacist or pharmacy intern in a general medical/surgical hospital preferred for PharmD candidates.

Certification Requirements:

BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required (must be obtained within first 90 days of hire).

License Requirements:

State of Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Registered Pharmacist Licensure Other Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, data entry skills, analytical and basic math skills required.
