As a key member of our new store opening team, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting store operations. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to explore and enjoy our unique merchandise. This paid position offers an incredible opportunity to grow professionally while being part of an innovative retail experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections, including conducting engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, stocked, and visually appealing Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Lead by example in supervising new team members, providing guidance on store procedures and customer engagement strategies Qualifications Prior retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus for leadership roles Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not required; adaptability to different retail environments is essential Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Embark on an exciting journey with us as we open our newest location!
