In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through our wide selection of smoking accessories, tobacco products, and related merchandise. Your energy and product knowledge will drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a well-organized store environment. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop retail skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and tracking stock movement Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions via phone etiquette and in person Assist with product demos and educate customers on product features and benefits Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or specialty shops like smoke shops Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for engaging diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions is essential Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail math will help you succeed in this role Knowledge of tobacco products or smoking accessories is beneficial but not required; training will be provided Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette and deliver excellent customer service consistently Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing top-notch service while growing your retail expertise.
