Now Hiring Team Members at Play It Again Sports Clearwater! Play It Again Sports is a locally-owned and operated retail business that buys and sells new and used sporting goods and fitness equipment. We're opening our doors to the Clearwater community this summer and looking for team members to grow with us. If you bring the energy, take pride in your work, and have a genuine love for sports, we'd love to hear from you! Starting pay is $15/hour Team Lead Responsibilities Welcome every customer with energy and genuine interest in what they need Get to know our products inside and out, including brands, features, and varieties, and make smart, honest recommendations Evaluate and buy used sporting goods from customers using our buying guidelines and software tools Price and ticket incoming inventory for the sales floor Restock and maintain displays and housekeeping standards Learn and use our Point of Sale system accurately and efficiently Help build and maintain our e-commerce business and online presence via social media Team Lead Qualifications Positive energy A real team player with the ability to take direction well, communicate with customers and teammates, and bring out the best in others Available Wednesdays and Sundays Knowledge in golf equipment Available for five 5-hour shifts per week either opening or closing. Additional hours possible. Hours are 10-8pm M-F, 10-6pm Sat, 11-5pm Sun Solid knowledge of at least one sport, especially golf or baseball, is a major plus Team Member Physical Requirements Stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift Bend, stoop, and reach to stock shelves and help with inventory Lift and carry merchandise, boxes, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted Assist customers in loading purchases into vehicles when needed Team Member Perks Team member discount Opportunity to grow with a new store from the ground up
