In this energetic role, you will be the face of our showroom, guiding customers through an inspiring selection of flooring options, rugs, hardwood, and other flooring finishes. Your expertise will drive high-end sales by offering tailored solutions, demonstrating product features, and fostering lasting relationships. This paid position offers a vibrant environment for those passionate about interior renovation, construction, and home improvement. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their design needs and provide expert advice on area rugs, carpet, wood flooring and other flooring options. Assist clients with selecting products and help them visualize their projects and recommend optimal solutions. Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, and maintaining accurate sales records. Support merchandising efforts by stocking displays, organizing samples, and ensuring the showroom is inviting and well-maintained. Collaborate with clients on remodeling projects by providing insights into renovation processes, construction timelines, and maintenance considerations. Utilize organizational skills to track customer accounts, follow up on leads, and coordinate marketing initiatives to attract new business. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or inside sales within flooring, home improvement, or interior design industries is preferred. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish necessary; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Understanding of renovation processes, construction practices, and remodeling projects helps deliver comprehensive customer support. Basic math skills for handling POS transactions, retail math calculations, and product measurements. Organizational skills necessary for stock management, merchandising setup, and maintaining showroom presentation standards.
