In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a welcoming environment while driving sales and ensuring excellent service. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help promote our products, assist customers with their needs, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop sales expertise in a fast-paced retail setting, especially within specialty retail environments. Duties Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Operate the Point of Sale system accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits of merchandise Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation and product availability Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking stock levels, and assisting with inventory counts Use effective phone etiquette to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, or direct calls appropriately Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Supervising experience is a plus; ability to lead by example and support team members Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are highly valued Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and sales calculations Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and retail sales strategies preferred Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while building your sales expertise!
