In this role, you will be the frontline representative of our store, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design. Provide expert advice on horticulture and landscaping products to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts issuance. Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal and popular items. Support inventory management through stock replenishment, product merchandising, and inventory counts. Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Assist with e-commerce order processing and coordinate in-store pickup or delivery options. Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create an inviting environment. Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, floral design, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Basic retail math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Organizational skills necessary for stocking, merchandising, and inventory management. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with diverse clientele. Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed.
