We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a retail environment, and has an appreciation for surf, skate, beach, or outdoor culture. Position Details 30-40 hours per week Weekend availability required Flexible scheduling based on business needs Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service Assist shoppers with product selection and recommendations Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Restock merchandise and assist with inventory organization Open and/or close the store according to company procedures Help maintain brand standards and a positive shopping experience Represent the Rip & Drift and Salt Life brands with professionalism and enthusiasm Qualifications Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred Experience with Shopify POS and basic Shopify inventory management is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed Comfortable handling cash, processing transactions, and operating retail technology Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic Interest in surfing, skating, fishing, boating, beach culture, or outdoor lifestyle brands is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Employee merchandise discounts Relaxed, coastal-inspired work environment Opportunity for growth with a rapidly expanding retail brand Hands-on experience in the surf and lifestyle industry If you're passionate about customer service and enjoy the coastal lifestyle, we'd love to hear from you.
