Sales Associate

Family owned pool supply store looking for a full time (Friday through Monday) retail sales associates to help our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be vital in promoting products and ensuring customer satisfaction. This retail associate position entails:

Perform water balance tests and advise customers how to keep their pool balanced, clear and blue! Learn our pool products and make tailored recommendations for each customer. Help customers to their vehicles with their purchases. Ensure store is clean; dust mop, vacuum and clean windows. Take out trash and recycled materials. Stock various items. Fill chlorine jugs. Answer phone calls and provide answers to common questions. Accurately operate a cash register when needed. Other tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to work with chlorine without having an allergic reaction. Applicants can not be color blind.

Pay and Benefits:

Wage depends on your experience. Relevant pool industry experience and commission sales experience that is verifiable starts higher. This position also earns commissions from certain customer purchases that you sell.
