$25.00 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Accessories Shop Lead to join our team in Hialeah, FL. This full-time role is ideal for experienced aerospace maintenance professionals who are ready to take on a leadership position within a dynamic and technical environment. As the senior technical resource in the Accessories Department, you will lead daily workflow activities while engaging in hands-on inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft accessory components. Schedule & Shift Full-Time On-Site Primary Job Responsibilities Lead daily shop floor operations and technician workflow Perform inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft accessory components Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians Assist with assigning workloads and production priorities Interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, and OEM documentation Support repair evaluations and quoting activities Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures Assist with process improvements and operational efficiencies Monitor tooling, equipment, and work quality Maintain a safe and organized work environment Support production goals, quality initiatives, and turnaround time objectives Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years of aircraft component maintenance, hydraulic repair, landing gear accessories, or related aerospace maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Strong communication and leadership abilities Previous Lead Technician or supervisory experience preferred Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and mechanical aircraft components preferred Experience with aviation maintenance systems preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred FAA repair station experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing and repair environment Must be able to wear required PPE Must meet vision requirements necessary for inspection and repair activities
