Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively presented. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking new merchandise and conducting stock counts. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support sales goals through effective upselling techniques and personalized recommendations. Supervise and mentor new team members when needed, fostering a collaborative store environment. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling you to connect with a diverse customer base. Strong communication skills to clearly convey product information and assist customers effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Experience with grocery store environments or merchandising is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced settings. Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team.
