Tanning & Beauty Consultant

Baja Heat Tanning Salon is hiring part-time Tanning Consultants for our Winter Haven and South Lakeland locations. We're looking for someone outgoing, reliable, coachable, and comfortable talking with customers throughout the shift. This is an active, customer-focused role in a fun, team-oriented salon environment. You'll help guests choose memberships, tanning services, and products while creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the door. Pay includes hourly wage plus commission and bonus opportunities. Perks include free tanning, employee discounts, paid training, and flexible scheduling. No tanning experience is required. We provide training and support to help you succeed.

About the role:

As a Tanning Consultant, you'll help guests choose memberships, tanning services, and products while creating a clean, welcoming salon experience. This role includes customer service, sales, cleaning, and daily salon tasks. Paid training is provided, so no tanning experience is required.

Location flexibility required:

This position supports both our Winter Haven and South Lakeland locations. Team members are scheduled in advance and should be comfortable occasionally working at either salon when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service Educate guests on services, memberships, and products Meet individual and team sales goals Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon Handle cash transactions and open/close the salon

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Comfortable talking with customers throughout the shift Customer service or retail experience preferred, but not required Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift Available evenings and weekends This role is best for someone outgoing, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
