We primarily serve to-go breakfast and lunch items, along with coffee and beverages, to office professionals in a friendly and fast-paced environment. This role involves helping open the café in the morning, assisting customers, preparing coffee and food items, operating the register, and supporting daily operations to ensure excellent service and a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate is reliable, friendly, flexible, and enjoys working with people. About the Role As a Café Team Member, you will play an important role in the daily success of our café by helping provide fast, friendly service to customers during busy breakfast and lunch hours. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well with others, and is willing to assist wherever needed to help the café run efficiently. Our café operates Monday through Friday only and is closed on weekends and federal holidays, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking a consistent daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, or major holiday shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with opening duties each morning, including preparing the café for daily operations
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Take customer orders and operate the cash register/POS system
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to café standards
- Assist with serving and preparing simple to-go breakfast and lunch items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- Restock supplies and help keep inventory organized
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to help operations run smoothly
