ROLE SUMMARY

The Facility Department Lead is responsible for developing, executing, and managing strategies, budgets, and initiatives for the Facility Department. This role focuses on ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of the facility, with the ultimate goal of creating and sustaining an environment of excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing facility operations, optimizing budget allocations, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall performance and efficiency.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the building is prepared and fully functioning for weekend services Oversee all facility maintenance and building projects for Grow Church Lead and develop the facilities Team, including onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of new team members and current volunteers Manage facility vendors, contracts, and payments Manage the Evacuation plan for the entire facility Manage the facility access system Track and order inventory for facility supplies Manage budget Keep developed and updated SOPs Assist with events, with room preparations and transitions as needed Point of contact for all facility needs and communication Supervise department staff Other Duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Must be an active member of Grow Church Strong organizational and communication skills Able to supervise a team of volunteers and staff Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Flexible schedule: Able to work nights and weekends as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of related work experience Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for maintenance purposes Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements Demonstrated ability in maintenance management and overseeing facility maintenance operations Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and external vendors
