In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face at the checkout counter, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers. Your enthusiasm for retail sales, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will help drive sales and foster customer loyalty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in merchandising, upselling, and product demonstrations while contributing to a vibrant retail environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and safety protocols Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual (additional language) is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers Join our team as a Part-Time Cashier and be part of an energetic environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
