Retail Store Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for retail sales. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Stocking deliviries. Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels. Assist in visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Maintain a clean store environment Experience Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred but not required. Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math concepts are essential for processing transactions accurately. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike. Experience with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus.
