Job Description
Job Summary Perfect summer job for college student! We are seeking a Beach Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a safe and enjoyable beach experience for all visitors. This role requires sales and customer service skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests and assist them with their needs on the beach. Provide information about beach amenities, events, and activities available. Handle cash transactions accurately for rental equipment or services. Set up and maintain beach equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, and recreational items by 9am and pack up starting at 5pm. Usually 20 to 40 sets of beach chairs daily. Address guest inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise in a professional manner. Conduct regular inspections of the beach area to ensure cleanliness and safety. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales or hospitality is preferred. Must be comfortable driving a 4wd truck in the sand. Ability to handle the summer heat with a positive attitude. Cash handling and communication skills. Conflict management abilities to effectively address guest concerns. Fit enough to setup and break down 20-40 sets of beach chairs daily. Knowledge of lifeguard practices is beneficial but not required; certification can be provided if necessary. •We are specifically looking to hire someone 4 days a week. (As an onsite beach attendant 2 days and west Pcb delivery rentals 2 days.) •Great tips if you have a great attitude! Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily.
