Job Summary Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will shine! In this dynamic role, you'll be the friendly face guiding customers through their shopping experience, offering expert advice on gardening, landscaping, floral design, and outdoor maintenance. Your energy will help create a welcoming environment that inspires customers to bring their outdoor visions to life. Whether assisting with product selection, managing transactions, or organizing stock, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and fostering lasting relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and floral design products. Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and processing payments accurately. Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with high-quality products to maximize sales opportunities. Offer guidance on product features and benefits, helping customers select the best solutions for their outdoor projects. Manage inventory levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks to ensure product availability. Assist customers with e-commerce inquiries and facilitate online order pickups or returns when needed. Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment that encourages customer engagement. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential! Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, floral design or related fields is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse communities. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Excellent organizational skills for stocking shelves and merchandising displays efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet store needs. Passion for outdoor living products and a desire to help customers bring their outdoor spaces to life!
