We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Counter & Assembly Representative to join our team. Position Summary The Counter & Assembly Representative serves as the face of our business, providing outstanding customer service while ensuring garments are accurately processed, assembled, and prepared for pickup. This role combines front-counter customer interaction with behind-the-scenes garment organization and quality control. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Front Counter Greet customers warmly and professionally. Receive garments for cleaning and accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system. Explain services, pricing, and turnaround times. Process payments and issue receipts. Address customer questions, concerns, and special requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work area. Garment Assembly & Quality Control Match cleaned garments with corresponding orders. Inspect garments for quality, spotting, pressing, and completeness before packaging. Assemble and package orders according to company standards. Organize completed orders for efficient customer pickup. Verify customer information and order accuracy. Assist with inventory and supply management as needed. Team Support Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely order completion. Help maintain workflow efficiency during busy periods. Support daily opening and closing procedures. Required Qualifications Previous experience working at a premium dry-cleaning establishment is required. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Basic computer and cash-handling experience. Reliable attendance, professionalism, and punctuality. Ability to lift and move garment racks and bags weighing up to 40 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Spanish language skills are strongly preferred. Experience with SMRT dry-cleaning point-of-sale systems. Knowledge of garment care, stain identification, and quality control procedures.
