As the First Coast continues to grow—with new residents, thriving local businesses, and a highly engaged readership—we're adding an Independent Contractor Multimedia Sales Representative position to help our advertising partners reach the audiences that matter most. In this role, you'll have the freedom and earning potential that come with a commission-based position — backed by the brand recognition and marketing resources of an established media company. You'll work directly with businesses across the First Coast, building relationships and delivering advertising solutions that combine the credibility of our brand of print and digital products, which include a weekly newspaper, glossy magazines, targeted display advertising, email marketing, social media promotion, and custom content, making us the one-stop-shop for all advertising and marketing needs. As your client base grows, so does your recurring revenue — the accounts you build become an ongoing income stream. Position Overview Prospect and develop new business relationships across the First Coast Manage a full sales pipeline—from first contact through contract negotiation and close Consult with clients about their marketing needs and present customized print and digital advertising packages across our family of products Collaborate with our in-house creative team to develop compelling proposals, ad designs, campaign strategies, and upsell opportunities Maintain and grow client accounts to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets Stay current on advertising trends, competitive offerings, and developments in the local market to position our products effectively The Ideal Candidate to Join Our Team Outside sales experience, preferably in multimedia advertising, media, or marketing services is required.
