Furniture & Home Furnishings Sales Associate T. Gregory Imports - St. Augustine, FL T. Gregory Imports is a locally owned furniture and accessories company with four showroom locations throughout Northeast Florida. For over 20 years, we have specialized in globally curated solid wood furniture, outdoor teak, artisan lighting, designer faux florals, and unique home accessories. Our showrooms are designed around relaxed coastal living, timeless materials, warm spaces, and exceptional customer experience. We are not a typical furniture store or big-box retailer. We are seeking a dependable, personable, and design-aware Sales Associate to join our St. Augustine showroom team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys beautiful spaces, working with people, and helping customers create inviting homes and outdoor living environments. Hospitality, boutique retail, interior décor, furniture, design, and lifestyle retail experience are all valuable backgrounds for this role.

Schedule:

4-5 days per week including weekends Some independent showroom coverage required

Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist customers in a warm, professional, and non-pushy manner Help customers select furniture, lighting, décor, and accessories for complete spaces Maintain beautiful showroom presentation and merchandising standards Assist with inventory organization and showroom upkeep Process customer transactions and orders using our POS system Follow up with customers and assist with special orders when needed Work collaboratively with the showroom team to provide an exceptional customer experience Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually inspiring showroom environment

Qualifications:

Strong people skills and communication Dependable, professional, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable learning and using technology and POS systems Ability to work independently when needed Interest in furniture, interiors, home décor, or design preferred Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred We are looking for someone who: enjoys helping customers has a good eye for presentation and detail appreciates design and home furnishings is comfortable learning new systems and processes wants to grow with a respected local business Learn more about us: tgregoryimports.com
