Starting at $15/hour + 5% Uncapped Commission About Zephyr & Zinnia Zephyr & Zinnia is Winter Park's destination for luxury furniture, home décor, and interior design. With over 20 years of experience in interior design and home remodeling, we help clients create beautiful, functional spaces through exceptional products, personalized design guidance, and outstanding customer service. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, and design-minded individual who enjoys working with people and has a passion for sales, furniture, and interior design. What You'll Do Welcome and engage customers as they enter our showroom. Build relationships with clients by understanding their style, space, needs, and budget. Guide customers through furniture, décor, lighting, and design selections. Demonstrate product knowledge, including materials, craftsmanship, finishes, and customization options. Create quotes, process orders, check inventory availability, and manage transactions. Coordinate customer follow-ups regarding orders, deliveries, and design consultations. Maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom that reflects our luxury brand standards. Assist with merchandising, product displays, and showroom presentation. Help create a warm, welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and referrals. What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Friendly, professional, and confident personality. Sales experience preferred (furniture, home décor, interior design, retail, or luxury goods is a plus). Interest in furniture, interior design, home décor, architecture, or design trends. Ability to listen carefully and help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Comfortable using POS systems, email, and basic computer software. Reliable, organized, and goal-oriented. Available to work weekends and flexible showroom hours. A Self-Starter Mentality Is Essential This is not a traditional retail job where every minute of the day is assigned to you. Our showroom environment is often self-paced, and we are looking for individuals who naturally take initiative and find ways to contribute. During slower periods, there are always projects that can improve the customer experience and support the growth of the business. Examples include:
Improving showroom displays and merchandising. Organizing products and showroom areas. Following up with past customers and leads. Assisting with social media and content ideas. Learning new product lines and design trends. Researching products and vendors. Identifying ways to improve operations and customer service.
