Duties Prepare a variety of food items efficiently and following safety standards to ensure quality and freshness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations through upselling techniques. Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers. Handle cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change with accuracy. Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the café or retail space. Support the team during busy hours by managing time effectively to ensure quick service and high customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or working in quick service & fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a grocery store or retail environment is highly desirable.
