In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and a passion for helping others. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Maintain a well-organized sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing. Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and recommend products accordingly. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Ability to supervise and mentor team members in a retail environment. Proven sales skills with a focus on upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of customers. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
