Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, handle cash and card payments, and give correct change Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance store presentation and product accessibility Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and alerting management of low inventory levels Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person with clear communication skills Support team members with supervising responsibilities when needed, including training new staff or assisting with daily store operations Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Demonstrated customer service skills with an emphasis on positive communication and problem-solving Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos is beneficial for success in this role Knowledge of retail math principles for balancing registers and managing sales data accurately Previous supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team leadership tasks Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive spirit fuels customer satisfaction!
