As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our café. This position requires a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cash handling, and providing assistance to customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process transactions. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and inventory counts. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks. Experience Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and inventory management. Experience with POS systems or similar cash register systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
