Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Takes court reservation times as needed under club rules. Maintains up-to-date miscellaneous information regarding play, etc. to provide to players as they check in. Answers tennis shop telephone(s). Checks players in and collects fees. Processes charges using computer application and POS system Assists with displaying tennis shop merchandise. Performs daily inventory count. Assists in preparation of tennis programs and tournaments. Assists customers in selection of merchandise. Keeps up with special events (tennis tournaments, etc.). Maintains a direct communication with the Ritz-Carlton Concierge and Member Concierge. Manages messages and calendars for tennis professionals. Cleans and straightens tennis shop as needed. Restocks supplies, as needed. Assists Tennis Professionals in every day duties. Assists other Tennis staff, as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
Retail experience preferred. Computer experience is preferred. Excellent communication and public relations skills required. Must be able to greet public in a friendly, courteous manner. Tennis knowledge preferred. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.

Performs job responsibilities according to the company safety and training programs. Reports safety or hazard concerns to management. Reports any on the job injury to management.
