Retail Sales Associate

Looking for someone to join the team at our 'old world' retail store in Helen, GA. Hours and dates do fluctuate but this can be a part-time or full time position. Pay is based on experience. Our add shows $15.00/hr yet it could be a bit lower for a first time job seeker or higher for someone with great experience. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, the ability to learn a large amount of product information, be willing to approach customers, enjoy a busy environment, and be able to handle traditional traditional retail tasks like inventory control, light cleaning, working with other employees, etc. Sales skills are helpful but the right candidate doesn't need sales experience. An outgoing personality is a must with as many people as we speak with each day. Little or no job experience is fine as well for the right candidate. Character is more important than everything else. We work hard but it's a fun atmosphere and we have lots of fun, repeat customers. Some evenings, most weekends, and minor holidays are a must but we are flexible so these are not always required. We have always worked hard to provide our employees a good work/life balance.
