Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic furniture and mattress team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, provides exceptional service, and helps them find the perfect products to meet their needs. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and create a welcoming shopping environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced retail setting. Pay Base + Commission equals to approximately to $20 an hour Responsibilities Engage with customers warmly, offering personalized assistance and product recommendations Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking duties to optimize product visibility Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and organizing back stock Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Support sales goals through upselling techniques and promoting ongoing promotions or new products Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish (Not required but recommended) Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work (Required) Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment if applicable Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for accurate transactions and cash handling Proven supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed Ability to perform retail math calculations related to sales, discounts, and inventory management Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail sales expertise while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
